The WAMC Gratitude Project Continues

The WAMC Gratitude Project Continues.

The Warwick Area Migrant Committee (WAMC) continues its Gratitude Project as we enter the month of May. WAMC program participants are continuing to provide feedback and letters of thanks to all those who support our various programs throughout the year. The migrant farm workers of Southern Orange County NY and their families are truly grateful for all the support that has been shown to them through the community’s support of our Summer Enrichment Program, the After School Homework Club, and the recent COVID-19 Outreach Program. These programs along with special events like our Dinner with Santa and Easter Baskets holiday events help the children of migrant farm workers experience what many take for granted as “normal” life. In these challenging times of the coronavirus epidemic this continued support gives the migrant farm worker community hope for the future and a fighting chance against the various economic hardships they face during normal the times much less tough times like we are all going through.

You can see some great examples of how your support has impacted the lives of these people on our Instagram page here. Be sure to follow our Instagram page so you can stay up to date on all our programs and see how your support positively impacts the lives of migrant farm workers and their families.
