A few weeks ago New York State Senator Jen Metzger came to visit the Warwick Area Migrant Committee Summer Enrichment Program. Afterwards the Group 4 student wrote letters to Senator Metzger asking about her role in government and thanking her for her visit. As promised Senator Metzger wrote back to all the children who wrote her. On Friday; August 16, 2019 the students got to read those letters. Each Group 4 student received a personalized letter from the Senator. The children were really excited to read the letters. Thank you Senator Metzger once again for visiting us and obtaining a grant for our Program. Also thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to write each of the children back!
