The Warwick Area Migrant Committee will be holding its Annual Community Dinner Fundraiser on Sunday; May 19, 2019 from 4 pm through 6 pm at the Warwick United Methodist Church (135 Forester Ave.; Warwick, NY 10990). Tickets are available at a suggested donation price of $35 per person. Tickets must be purchased by Friday; May 10, 2019. A farm fresh meal will be prepared by Chef Sherry Wyckoff. Home baked cookies and hand sewn crafts will be for sale as well.

All funds raised go directly the WAMC Dulce Esperanza Summer Enrichment Program enabling school age children in need to have a safe and educationally enriching place to stay during the day while their parents work the many agricultural operations and farms throughout our area. The program operates seven days a week from 9 am through 5 pm. This program enriches the lives of farmworkers’ children who otherwise would not have the opportunity to learn and grow. Children range in age from six years old to seventeen years old. The program has received local praise and support from the local public educational community, as well as, that of local religious communities throughout the Southern Orange County New York area.
