On August 10, 2018 the WAMC Summer Enrichment Program students in Group 2 took a field trip to Bear Mountain State Park in Bear Mountain, New York. First, they enjoyed the views of the Hudson River from Perkins Memorial Drive and then went to visit the animals at the zoo. The students even followed the path that led to an area of more spectacular views, where they saw the bridge, passenger trains heading to Garrison, and cargo trains. They had such a great time and didn’t want to leave!
