Looking for an exciting and rewarding environment to work in? The Warwick Area Migrant Committee and its subsidiary organization the Warwick Area Farmworker Organization offer an opportunity to serve others and get experience that will last a lifetime.

Job Postings for 2021 Summer Session


Certified Teachers:

We will be hiring four Certified Teachers to work with students in a summer enrichment program for farmworker children. Teachers with experience working with LEP students are preferred but not required. The Orientation of the teaching staff will take place during the week of June 21, 2021 . The location of the program will be in the Pine Island area. The program will run for seven weeks following the orientation week. The hours are from 9-4:30, Monday through Friday. Teachers familiar with Learning A-Z will be used with students. Familiarity with this program is preferred but not essential.

Each class will have one teacher and one Summer Intern. The morning will be focused on reading and other academic support. The afternoons will be spent on enrichment activities including but not limited to dance, gardening, field trips, arts and crafts. Teachers will be supported by community members offering additional activities and resources.

We will be hiring four Summer Interns, who are in their Undergraduate studies. A preference is for those with experience working with LEP students but not required. Outreach Worker:

Full time position open to a staff member who is fluent in English and Spanish. This position will work with the students and parents. This position will also be responsible for transportation of children on field trips and some outreach efforts. An excellent driving record is required for this position.
