The Warwick Area Farmworkers Organization Summer Enrichment Program is moving ahead full steam, but we are now looking ahead at some other programs we would like to offer to the students we serve. In particular, we are looking to get a program going to teach children how to crochet:
Volunteer Help Needed – Crochet Club Student Program:
Crochet teacher – A small group of students enrolled in our other existing WAFO programs are interested in learning how to crochet in the afternoon over the next five weeks. Let us know if you can come to help teach these children the art of crocheting.
We have a Cricket Explorer 3 machine and mug press for the students to use, but we need help with figuring out how to use them. If you know how to use these machines please volunteer to help us!
Come in to support us if you are familiar with how to crochet and able to volunteer some time to help children learn this wonderful life skill that we are sure they will want to pass onto future generations.
If you can help out please contact us to volunteer and help out. Thank you in advance for your help!
