On Thursday; July 1, 2019 the Chosun Taekwondo Academy of Warwick, New York visited the Warwick Area Migrant Committee Summer Program to train the students in the program in basic Taekwondo forms. The children had so much fun participating in the class. The children were very attentive to all the lessons they learned during the class and were very eager to do the forms correctly. One of the kids even got to break his own board!

The Chosen Taekwondo Academy generously volunteers all its instructors’ time to this event annually. The WAMC is grateful to Master Doug Cook and all his Academy students, as well as, teachers for taking the time to enrich the lives of children in need. A big part of the event is building self confidence and discipline in the children through each successive lesson during the class. We thank Master Cook and his Academy for hosting the event. We also thank them for doing such a such great of teaching the children the importance  of physical and mental well being.

We look forward to having the Chosun Taekwondo Academy return next year!
